The images that I have submitted are representative of my dedication and passion for my work in Art and Media studies. Obtaining an AS in fine art and a BTEC in media has influenced me greatly, shaping what my interests are. I am adept with final cut pro, though overall I lean towards physical materials and processes. I want to expand my skills in new areas and use software along with more abstract techniques and I am keen to expand my knowledge with like minded people who share the same ambition as me to become a part of the industry. I think I am well suited for MMU because I am intensely driven but would benefit greatly from direction from such a renowned University and course. I would be honoured to be a part of it and have a chance to experiment and use my creativity somewhere it won’t go to waste. I think that I am good when it comes to branching out into new ideas and I would relish the opportunity to expand my creativity towards sound, just as another platform to express myself from.
The artwork I have uploaded is tailored towards this course and is a small cross section of the work I have created. It is only the beginning of a what I hope will be a lifetime interest and with any luck a career in what I love to do. A place on this course would give me the chance to take my talents and mould them into something that can benefit me financially and stimulate me mentally. Thank you for taking the time to look through my work.
